The last station open to the public was the Battery Commander's
(BC) station for Battery Arnold. Peter Morrill and Larry Winchell installed
much of the communications equipment in the station and they both manned the
station through most of the day.
The final major display was the collection of Civil War to 19th
Century field artillery cannons and Gatling guns. This proved a very powerful
draw to the public and was masterfully interpreted by the members of the Salem
Light Artillery.
