Work on another major project, the M3 plotting board, continued at the event. The newly assembled arms and data boxes are shown by 1SG Murray below.

CPT JP Prostak is the architect of the board and other plotting room equipment. Though clearly a long-term project, CPT Prostak notches up accomplishment after accomplishment within the plotting room of the battery. Additions to the plotting board include the angular travel scale and prediction scale. These scales enable the plotting of the "set forward point" and the "predicted point" of impact of the projectile. With the addition of these scales, the board is almost complete.

Another of CPT Prostak's projects is the range percentage corrector. This device was used to correct range for non-standard conditions.

CPT Prostak has become AGFA's resident expert on the use and application of these plotting room instruments. As we continue to add instruments to the plotting room, CPT Prostak's growing knowledge will enable us to learn how these instruments work and then place them in context of the fire control process for the public.
